At Stoneydelph Primary School, we place a great importance on Art and Design. It is crucial that all children can express themselves in a creative and imaginative manner, and are able to explore a range of techniques and skills.
Children will be introduced to a range of different artists (local, national and international, and from different periods in History) and their work, and encouraged to talk about what they like, dislike and notice about the different pieces of Art and Design.
It is important that children build on their skills year after year as they move through the school, in a clear and comprehensive scheme of work which carefully plans for progression and depth.
